The people of Macedonia and Greece are known for their passion towards electronic engineering. These two countries are famous all over the world as top exporters of semiconductor products. Both of them are located in the region of Former Yugoslavia (Serbia & Montenegro). The people of these two countries are so talented that they have created numerous small and medium sized production firms. Their industrial production is so high that many renowned multinational companies from all over the world are their customers.
Now let us have a look at the history of these countries. Macedonians first introduced the technology of mass production of semiconductor in 1950. In this way they could make use of cheap raw material and reduce the cost of manufacturing. This made the life of the average citizen cheaper, thus creating more consumer demand for the electronic items in the country.
The people of these two countries are so talented that they are making use of several new technologies to develop their appliances. One of the most common household items powered by electricity is the washing machine. In the recent years the countries of these two countries have also started using the power of the microwave to heat up food. In addition, these countries are making use of solar energy to power many household electrical devices like television, computer and fridge. Solar panels are also being used to produce energy for these electronic appliances.
These electronics industries have achieved a lot through their innovations. Apart from using these appliances, which we take for granted every day, we are also getting our computers connected to internet through wireless routers. Therefore, we can access the World Wide Web wirelessly. And we are connecting ourselves to different social networks too like Facebook, Myspace and twitter, through blogs and chat rooms.
