For most of my students, the term ball room refers to a place on a dance floor where everyone wears ballroom dresses and it is very social. I also call it a “dancing floor” because there is music playing and everyone dances to the music. What I teach my students to do instead of dancing is to use “line dancing”. Line dancing is simply graceful, elegant and beautiful.
A lot of times when people think of ballroom dancing they imagine beautiful women gracefully spinning around in circles. What they do not realize is that the women who invented the art of line dancing were men. They were professional dancers for years before they decided to share their talents with the public. You can see a real line dancer going up and down the aisle of a wedding or you can see one elegantly twirling a pair of scissors in the middle of a kitchen. They are amazing and beautiful and there is nothing feminine about them at all.
What makes them even more appealing to women is their simplicity. When a woman dances with elegance in a ballroom dance outfit she looks like she could walk straight out of a magazine and into your world. If you ever want to see what a beautiful ballroom dancer looks like in person then you should try watching some of the world’s most famous dancers like Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Denis Luegenfuhrer, Dmitry Chaplin, Etiquette, Dan Fox, or John Butler. They are some of the best out there and if you have never seen them in action you should give them a chance because they are an incredible sight to behold.
