Advantages of Bharathanatyam includes cleansing of the chakras and also helps to attain inner silence and serenity. It also helps to heal the spirit and mind. Achieving inner peace and harmony through yoga is called pranayama. The Advantages of Bharathanatyam and pranayama are closely related.

Pranayama or inhalation and exhalation are two methods to control the breath and heartbeat. Mantra is a spoken word or a phrase of the alphabet repeated in a bending posture. Repeated mantras are thought to be a form of energy flow or magnetic force within the body. These vibrations are picked up by the nervous system and sent to the brain, which reacts by sending a signal to the organ responsible for generating thoughts, emotions and sensations.

Advantages of Bharathanatyam yoga are found in the texts and teachings of the sutras. It contains descriptions about the arrangement and functioning of the body, its organs and its functions. This knowledge helps people become healthy, physically, emotionally and mentally.

Pranayama yoga deals with the breath or the life force or the “prana” that flows through all the channels of the body. The theory behind pranayama yoga is that all these functions of the body are connected and dependent upon the existence of a supreme consciousness or “Ishwara”. According to the Shastras the various functions of the body are segregated according to their place in the body. One organ functions separately from the other and the entire body behaves as a whole organism. According to the shastras the various movements and modifications of the existing energy in the form of sound or vibration is termed as prana or “prana”. The Advantages of Bharathanatyam and pranayama yoga are based on the theory of merging the vital forces or prana through controlled breathing.

Pranayama yoga is a combination of various yogic asanas or postures and can be done in solitude or in group. The theory of mantra yoga concentrates on the internalization of the sound or vibration of the mantra, which in turn produces the desired effect of the body. Advantages of Bharathanatyam and mantra yoga are not limited to the physical aspects of the body. The mind also benefits from this form of yoga. It makes the inner communication between the spirit and the head more comprehensible.

The benefit of mantra meditation lies in the fact that it produces an enhanced ability of concentration and focus. By controlling the different aspects of our thinking (concentration) we become better able to control the energy within ourselves. Meditation trains us to realize the unlimited energy at the root of all things – the ultimate reality. Advantages of Bharathanatyam and mantra yoga are more subtle. They change our perception of life itself.

When we meditate we become aware of the fact that the ultimate reality – the Ultimate Mind or Super Substance – does not have any desires and that it is perfectly tranquil and at peace. We learn to live with this state of consciousness by shedding unwanted, harmful, limiting beliefs and reprogramming our thought processes. Thus, Advantages of Bharathanatyam and Moksha go hand in the transformation of an individual’s consciousness.
