The 18 Puranasin Hinduism is considered to be a collection of poems that are created in praise of the Hindu gods and goddesses. The Hindu religion considers the Vedas to be the ultimate literary work and the 18 Puranasin is one of the oldest and next only to vedas, which form an integral part of the Hindu tradition.
