In a simple yoga postures standing exercise, the whole body is stretched and held in the upright position with the legs crossed on the ankle. It is thus much easier to do than the other types of this kind of exercise, since the legs are kept straight and feet are placed flat on the ground. Since the entire body is stretched in this posture, breathing is done slowly and deeply. An extended meditation period may be needed, with the end being a relaxed and peaceful mind. The postures are simple to learn and follow, with no prior medical prescriptions needed.
