Astronomy Galactology

The Astronomy Galactology is concerned with the study of celestial bodies like the stars and other very small objects which we see around our galaxy, in our solar system and also in other large galaxies. It is also called the astro-astronomy or the astronomical science of stars. Astronomy Galactology studies the relationship between our solar system, Milky Way and nearby galaxies. This is a branch of astronomy concerned with the study of heavenly bodies. Astronomy can be performed by anyone, as there are many resources available to provide knowledge about stars, galaxies and other objects in the universe.

Stars are an extremely common object in our local Galaxy. There are about 100 million stars in our Milky Way Galaxy alone. A number of other smaller galaxies are also in this cluster. Out of these many stars, many astronomers have discovered hundreds of bright stars that are relatively cool (unburned) and emitting mostly blue light. Stars are very important to our existence as they make up 70% of the total gases in the Earth’s atmosphere. All these stars give out radiation that has helped us to detect other planets in our solar system.

Astronomy has provided a detailed study about the structure evolution of clusters of galaxies. This has given rise to new theories and discoveries. Astronomy can be divided into two fields, namely Astrophysics (study of space based objects) and Astronomy (study of celestial objects). Both of these fields use various techniques like infrared, radio, x-ray and gamma-ray to study space-based objects. We can study stars, black holes, planetary nebulae, clusters of galaxies, open clusters, irregular disks, globular clusters, variable star clusters and super clusters.

Astronomy is a field on the study of celestial bodies, which is very relevant in our daily life. In recent times, astronomers have found evidence for structure evolution of space-related objects by detecting a slight shift in the distance or brightness of the star from time to time. By analyzing the shift in the brightness of the star, astronomers have detected the existence of a distant galaxy. Astronomy has indirectly contributed to modern day astronomy by discovering stars that had previously been undetectable by the naked eye.

Astronomy can also be used to study the gas clouds that existed at the times of big bangs. These giant bubbles of gas had resulted from the rapid evolution of the universe. It is believed that the properties of neutral matter that existed at that time created the gas clouds. Astronomy can be studied by using satellites that orbit the earth and through studying the effects of these clouds on our climate. A variety of experiments conducted using the gases, clouds and climate at the times of big Bangs are currently underway in astronomy.

There are many theories and ideas proposed to explain the creation of gas clouds in the universe. Many theories propose that the neutral gas particles created an enormous amount of radiation which cooled the very early universe. This allowed the formation of hydrogen atoms that became the first elements of gas and other chemical compounds that made up the planets and atmospheres we know of today. As the gas continued to cool further into the universe, it became more transparent as it lost its heat and light and became pure plasma.

From observing the positions of gas clouds astronomers have determined the relative sizes of their host galaxies. They have also measured the velocities of smaller particles that are in close proximity to the clouds. By comparing these velocities with the distances and speeds that astronomers have observed in the gas clouds, astronomers have calculated how much slower than the speed of light they are traveling. This calculation gave them the velocities required to form the first stars in the universe. Astronomy Galactology is the study of celestial motions using astronomical telescopes.
